Grange over Sands for real.

Thursday 12th January 2017

Today was a slow day because it was a hot day.

We decided to have a beach day.  Initially we wanted to go down the coast to Brighton beach but we drove across to the coast and found the first beach we came to and we stayed there. Our location happened to be Grange and it was definitely Over Sands!

It was a just like Grange at home, a promenade, a jetty and and esplanade.  Thankfully it doesn't have a redundant swimming pool.

We walked along a road and found....

Rebekah and John went to Grange Primary School.

And we went to Captain Charles Sturt's house (the man who explored central Australia)....

We had it all to ourselves.  It had a museum that opened only on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.

I have done very well today and not introduced any politically sensitive topics.  We had a lovely Greek meal made by Jill.  Stuffed Vine leaves, ratatouille and salad, lovely selection of cheese and biscuits followed by fruit salad....mmmm....lovely.

We had some visitors as well....

A full kangaroo family and the cockies too.  The kangaroos actually have a curry body odour smell, more in keeping with our meal last night.
